Snow fun also away from the piste!

Enjoy the magic of the snow-covered scenery on a winter walk on one of the many, perfectly prepared paths around Kaprun. Some paths lead to rustic inns in which you can warm up and fortify yourself.

A ski tour on the Kitzsteinhorn mountain is perfect for exploring the mountain scenery in the winter. The effort of the ascent will be rewarded with a fantastic panoramic view and a descent across unspoilt powdery snow-covered slopes. Please always observe the current avalanche report.

When the temperatures drop to below freezing and the ice of Lake Zell is sufficiently thick, you will also be able to turn your pirouettes whilst ice skating. If not, there is also an ice skating hall – cool fun for the whole family!

Being able to speed down the slope into the valley is huge fun for young and old alike! Whether day or night – the 2 km long Guggenbichl natural toboggan run in Kaprun as well as the Köhlergraben toboggan run (1.5 km) promise plenty of fun!

Step by step through the snow and into the fields … anyone who has gone on a snowshoe hike will know the very special effect this sport has on body and soul! Guided tours are also offered in Kaprun.
